Meet this week’s Belle of the Week: Rhoda Tolulope Akinleye

Rhoda’s journey is one of growth, consistency, and embracing every opportunity to learn and evolve.

Before joining Belle Sisters, Rhoda was focused on building her career as an Executive Virtual Assistant professional, supporting founders and businesses with operations, creative assistance, and administrative tasks. Along the way, she continued developing her skills, exploring new opportunities, and building confidence in her abilities.

Her journey has been shaped by learning, adaptability, and the courage to keep moving forward even during moments of uncertainty. Today, Rhoda serves as the Social Media Manager at Belle Sisters and also provides operations and creative support at Masi Brands LLC, roles that have allowed her to combine her skills, creativity, and passion for meaningful work.

For Rhoda, Belle Sisters has become more than just a workplace or community. It has been a space where she has witnessed women connect, support one another, and grow together. Being part of the team behind the scenes, creating content that highlights inspiring stories and celebrates women’s achievements, has been one of the most rewarding parts of her journey.

One of Rhoda’s proudest achievements has been the growth she has experienced professionally. Looking back at the years when she was still learning, building her skills, and discovering her path, she is proud of how far she has come through consistency, openness to learning, and embracing new opportunities.

Her journey has not been without challenges. One of the biggest challenges she has faced has been overcoming self-doubt and questioning whether she was ready for new opportunities. Taking on new responsibilities required her to continue learning, adapting, and trusting herself.

Through consistency, growth, and a willingness to learn, Rhoda has continued to build her confidence and remind herself that progress takes time.

How she defines success:
For Rhoda, success is becoming the best version of herself while creating a positive impact through the work she does. It is not only about reaching big goals but also about learning, improving, and growing every day.

What keeps her motivated:
Knowing that every small step counts. Rhoda is motivated by the opportunity to keep learning, support others, and see how her work contributes to something meaningful.

Her advice to Belle Sisters:
Keep showing up for yourself, even when progress feels slow. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, learn new skills, and step outside your comfort zone. Every small step matters.

A life lesson she lives by:
“You’ve never lived this life before, so it’s okay not to have everything figured out.” Rhoda believes that growth comes from starting, learning, taking chances, and trusting the process along the way.

Rhoda’s story reminds us that growth does not happen overnight. Every experience, challenge, and opportunity helps shape us into the person we are becoming.
