Meet this week’s Belle of the Week: Peace Oluwatayo

Peace’s journey is one rooted in growth, creativity, faith, and the courage to embrace new beginnings.

Before stepping into entrepreneurship, Peace’s journey took her through different seasons of exploration and transformation. She started her career in Biochemistry before transitioning into Data Science, a bold move that required her to learn, adapt, and step confidently into an unfamiliar space.

Through that journey, she discovered the power of sharing knowledge and experiences. Her passion for helping others navigate their own paths inspired her to write her first eBook, Navigating Your Data Journey as a Newbie, followed by The In-Between Season, where she shared lessons from her personal growth journey. She has also had the opportunity to speak at different events, encouraging others to share their stories, build visibility, and confidently show up.

Today, Peace is the Founder and Creative Director of Journals by PA, a brand created from a place of service and storytelling. The idea began when she helped someone transform their healing journey into a journal and realized the power of turning personal experiences into something meaningful.

Through Journals by PA, Peace helps individuals and organizations bring their ideas, stories, and experiences to life through purposeful journals. From custom journals to workshops and speaking opportunities, her work uses journaling as a tool for reflection, clarity, purpose, and legacy.

Joining Belle Sisters was an opportunity for Peace to connect, collaborate, and build meaningful relationships beyond her immediate environment. Invited by the founder, Masi, she embraced the opportunity to be part of a community filled with women who are passionate about growth, connection, and impact.

One of Peace’s proudest achievements has been having the courage to launch Journals by PA. Building something of her own required stepping out in faith, trusting the process, and believing in the gifts and creativity God placed within her.

Her journey, however, has not been without challenges.

Transitioning from Biochemistry to Data Science and later into entrepreneurship meant stepping into spaces where she sometimes questioned whether she belonged. Overcoming imposter syndrome became part of her growth journey. Instead of allowing doubt to hold her back, Peace chose to keep showing up, reminding herself that growth happens outside of comfort zones and that she is capable of pursuing the things God places on her heart.

How she defines success:
For Peace, success is using her experiences, gifts, and journey to inspire and encourage others. It is not just about personal achievements but about creating an impact that helps someone else take action and believe in what is possible.

What keeps her motivated:
A deep gratitude for life and the opportunity to keep growing, learning, and using her gifts to serve others. She sees every day as a privilege and a chance to make a difference.

Her advice to Belle Sisters:
Embrace your transition seasons. Those moments of uncertainty often shape your resilience, clarity, and purpose. Trust God’s direction and remember that every season has something valuable to teach you.

A life lesson she lives by:
Embrace who you are and how God created you. Your journey, gifts, and experiences are unique. Learn to celebrate yourself, trust your growth, and become the person you were created to be.

Peace’s story reminds us that every transition can become a stepping stone, and sometimes the moments where we are figuring things out are the very moments where purpose is being revealed.
