Laetitia’s journey is one rooted in compassion, healing, purpose, and the desire to create spaces where people feel supported.
Her professional journey began in the nonprofit world, where her passion for helping others led her to work as a Youth Development Professional. Through that experience, she discovered that many of the challenges young people faced were not only individual struggles but connected to larger systemic issues.
Wanting to expand her skills and create stability in her own life, Laetitia transitioned into an Operations Coordinator role with a software training company. That experience equipped her with valuable administrative and organizational skills that continued to serve her throughout her career journey.
Eventually, she followed her deeper calling and pursued her path as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Today, she is a Psychotherapist and the founder of Tribue LLC, a creative business built from her desire to integrate her gifts, experiences, and passion for meaningful connection.
For Laetitia, Belle Sisters became the community she had been searching for. In a season of learning how to both give and receive, she found a space filled with women who encourage, support, and pour into one another. Being surrounded by other builders has reminded her that she does not have to navigate entrepreneurship alone.
One achievement Laetitia is especially proud of is creating an annual panel discussion focused on emerging voices in “Mental Health in Africa.” Since 2022, this initiative has created conversations around mental health awareness and has been featured as part of an international conference for mental health professionals.
Her journey, however, has also included seasons of deep challenges.
During her internship year, while balancing full-time school and full-time work, Laetitia experienced the sudden loss of her father, her biggest cheerleader and supporter. Navigating grief, emergency travel to Benin, and returning to the U.S. while continuing her responsibilities was one of the hardest seasons of her life.
Although she graduated as planned in May 2023, the experience left her completely burned out. Her journey back to wellness was gradual, but it strengthened her belief in the importance of caring for the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Today, she continues to advocate for wellness, especially among immigrant communities.
How she defines success:
For Laetitia, success is living in alignment with her values and fully embracing the gifts and talents God has given her. Tribue LLC is one expression of that purpose, a reflection of her creativity, passion, and desire to make an impact.
What keeps her motivated:
Hope. Inspired by her father’s words, “The best is yet to come,” Laetitia continues to move forward with faith and the belief that there is always more ahead.
Her advice to Belle Sisters:
She encourages women to reflect deeply on the roles they carry in life. Are those roles who you truly want to be? If not, what would it look like to step into something different? Growth begins with understanding yourself and making intentional choices.
A life lesson she lives by:
Healthy communities are built on true identity and loving accountability. When people are able to show up authentically while supporting one another, meaningful growth happens.
Laetitia’s story reminds us that healing, purpose, and community are deeply connected, and that even through difficult seasons, we can continue becoming who we were created to be.
Join us in celebrating this week’s Belle of the Week!
